Living in A Fantasy

I think that I’m living in a fantasy.

I guess.

Some kind of phantom itches.

Yes, Phantom itch.

I believe that I was born in heaven.

And I am an angel who has a pair of wings.

When I was a child, I hid in the clouds,

Looked at the people on earth.

Full of illusions.

When I was an adult, I tried to comprehend what was human desire.

I am a broken angel. I had blood all over my wings. The blood is overflows.

I hurt, spears, bows and arrows…

Cast away illusions.

Now, my illusions are crumbled.

I’m a falling angel.

The wings are lying on the ground.

I dispel illusions;

And without any illusion,

I may acquire an innocent life.

  2. I like your description of the broken angle which is touchable and vivid.

  3. I like how you used different choice of language. This poem has many words that I have to look up in a dictionary. Your vocabulary skill might be good as well ;D

  5. "I am an angel who has a pair of wings", I really like this sentence because of the metaphor.
