Growing Up

For pets,
Growing up is the time and tide when they become older and older but still accompany their owners.

For phoenix trees,
Growing up is becoming taller and taller,
Just like a man,
Which they can look down on the whole world.

For roses,
Growing up is a course in which they become more and more charming but also protect themselves using their thorns.

For me,
Growing up has different meanings in different stages.

When I am young,
Growing up is an enjoyable song because I am carefree.
I play.
I compare who is taller with other children.
Meanwhile,
I am looking forward to be an adult.

When I really become an adult,
Growing up is embarrassing because as time goes by, I am no longer young.
I grow up not only physically, but mentally.
I begin to think about my future, my career, my responsibility for my family and my contributions to society.

When I become old,
Growing up is like a story book because I will tell my experiences and stories to the young.
