Fall
Cold wind is blowing down the leaves,
And moving the sheaves,
Which ripple and shimmer like golden waves.
Bringing the world hopes.
Maple leaf is growing red in fall.
Dropping ears of rice, becoming tall.
Who is enjoying the yellow season?
Boys on the ground are playing ball.
Rain is falling down the lake.
It is from the crying clouds’ shake.
Everything is going to sleep gradually,
Just fish wake happily.
Something I liked about your poem was the way you use personification to describe the fall, like the sentence ' Rain is falling down the lake.It is from the crying clouds’ shake.
ReplyDeleteEverything is going to sleep gradually,
Just fish wake happily'.These words are so beautiful.
You are good to describe the Fall time as these sentence that I really liked "Cold wind is blowing down the leaves" "Which ripple and shimmer like golden waves."
ReplyDelete"Maple leaf is growing red in fall.".....
I like the rhyme of your poem, like "leaves, sheaves, waves" and "fall, tall, ball". I want to ask you"Does fall make you happy or a little bit sad?"
