Ling Long Yu

Growing Up

I am a small seed in the bird’s arms,
Enjoy flying in the sky with many dreams.
Wind is whirling around me.
Like a boat missing direction,
I am lost.
I am in the shadow.
I am surrounded by thirst.
I am interned in stones.
Sometimes,
I can hear murmuring and laughing outside.
I am full of anxiety.
I am losing balance in my dream.
I am too tired to recline in the shadow.
One day,
Sunlight goes through the stones,
I am woken by a feeling of bravery.
I break the stones to search for sunlight,
I dig deeper to absorb water,
I am a tree.

  3. The sentence "dig deeper to absorb water" is aptly used here. Indeed, we are all trees. In our life,we experience a lot. We should learn to make ourselves stronger.
