Sleepless
It is the middle of the night.
Set up my backpack.
Move slowly to turn off the light,
Afraid to wake my parents in the sack.
Close eyes and lie down in the bed.
But the brainstorm, it never stops.
Dream the whole world is dead.
Suddenly everything hops.
Like the fantasy land.
Animals are dancing on the ground.
A moment someone holds my hand.
Then all my classmates surround.
Say “let’s rock now.”
But a voice comes out unexpectedly.
“I want you guys to do the DO NOW.”
At the moment I open my eyes quickly.
I think that I must be late.
Feel like the sky starts to fall.
Fortunately my watch tells me to wait.
Therefore I can’t fall asleep anymore.
